About PlotGenerator

PlotGenerator is a small, free set of story generators for writers who are stuck: plots, story ideas, writing prompts, titles, and character backstories (the fantasy ones work for a D&D character too).

• No AI. Every result is picked at random from fixed word lists, right in your browser.
• No sign-up. Open a page and press Generate.
• Lock what you like. On the plot and backstory generators, lock the parts you want to keep and re-roll the rest.

The site is run by one person and is not affiliated with any publisher, game company or writing platform.
